Reliable, helpful individuals needed to carry and load grass, plants, bagged goods, statuary, etc. for our customers, and perform general labor duties as requested.

"Kids in the Garden" Workshops are for Ages 5 - 10
Registration and pre-payment of $5 fee required for each class. Space is limited so sign up today in our store or call 972-475-5888 Ext. 2. For refunds, cancellations must be received by 2 pm Thursday prior to the class so we can fill the space with another child. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
Life Cycle of the Butterfly Saturday, July 8th

Have fun with crafts while learning about the butterfly life cycle. Also make a butterfly feeder for your garden.
Bees in the Garden Saturday, July 15th

Visit with Collin County Honey Princess, Mary Reisinger to learn why bees are so important and see bees in their observation hive. Local honey will be for sale for $10 (Proceeds will go to the Honey Queen program.)
Growing Your Own Food Saturday, July 22nd

Discover where fruits and vegetables come from before they get to your grocery store. Then plant veggie seeds and a tomato plant to take home and grow.
Flowers & Succulents Saturday, August 5th

Learn about flowers and succulents. Plant a shade flower and create a sun-loving mini succulent terrarium out of recycled tomato packaging.
The Good, the Bad & the Ugly (Bugs & Worms) Saturday, August 12th

Learn about insects and create an insect catcher, then learn about worms and make a wormery.

Concrete Leaf Casting Workshop Saturday, July 15th
1:00-3:00 PM Space is limited!
Joanne Durbin, local concrete leaf artist, will show how to create a beautiful piece of art using leaves that are fresh from the garden. With her helpful guide and ingredients, you'll create your own concrete leaf sculpture during the workshop. Finished examples will be on display. Joanne will demonstrate how to paint and embellish your leaf, then you will finish your piece at home once it dries using your own paints. Cost $30. Registration & pre-payment required.
